for novice traders, it is better to learn to trade using a demo account first. If it's a psychological problem, in my opinion, the market movement is the same, the only difference is the capital status, then we just have to switch it by also considering the demo account as if it were our deposit capital that we must respect and maintain.

For a contest account, it is not suitable for novice traders to use it for learning, because the name of a trading contest contest is of course competing to increase equity as quickly as possible and competing with other traders to play full margin lots, because the focus is only on the amount of equity.

using a demo account or a contest account is actually the same the most important thing is when we use a demo account we know that the demo account is for practice while the contest account is for getting prizes by fighting to beat other traders

contest accounts are good for looking for prizes and trading capital, but if you want to test a trading system it's better to use a demo account because I think it's better.
