Contest accounts are a good way to measure your trading skills and gain experience in a competitive environment. But if you aim to test a certain technique then of course a contest account will not be suitable for this.

Using a demo account is something that is mandatory, but using a contest account is something that is our own choice and is not mandatory in my opinion.

Prize money in forex demo contests will usually be awarded in the form of account balance, because brokers hope that future traders will join them. Meanwhile, prize money in real forex contests can usually be withdrawn in cash. I think contest accounts are good for looking for trading capital.

I prefer when using demo accounts and contest accounts as well as demo accounts used to learn contest accounts to get prizes so it's better if we use these accounts often so that when we use a real account we are comfortable

A Forex demo account is a free practice account for new traders, like a flight simulator for new pilots. So if you want to learn then use a demo account because the contest account is for those who are already advanced.

I think here the use of demo accounts and contests is very different because when you use a demo account you focus on practice. When you use a contest account you may want to get prizes from tournaments or forex contests for deposit capital

I think using a demo account or contest account is different, but if you are serious about becoming a professional, you definitely practice using a demo account and then use the contest account first.
