I suggest you only use a demo account because your goal of trading is to make a profit, not to compete, so no matter how good you are, don't forget to bring your goal to be consistent on a real account.

Using a demo account or a contest account it can be a very good option but my advice you should also be able to practice demo account.

between the demo account and the contest account, in my opinion the most comfortable to use is the contest account, because in a contest account you can get prizes if you win

I prefer to use a contest account. In this case, it's because using a contest account can be used for two things, it can be for practice, it can be to get prizes, you all return to each other if you really like using a demo account, it doesn't matter.

I think the contest is not to test the trading system. We better use a demo account to practice.

I prefer to use a demo account instead of using a contest account. Demo account is an account that is mandatory for us to do before we jump into a real account, while the contest account is only to test our skills after we practice using a demo account.

for me trading on the contest account it's just the practice but a more challenging version because there is a competition we do to get a gift

Using a contest account is better when you have already learned it by using a demo account if you are learning it for the first time Or indeed you still can't try to use a demo account.

Depending on what conditions you want when you really want to do a contest, you can use a contest account. When you want to practice you can use a demo account.

Actually I prefer to use a contest account because for me when I use a contest account, then I will be motivated between practice as well as being able to win a tournament. When I can get a heart there I feel proud and that means I can maintain my management well.
