There have been some changes to the points system, effective immediately.

CHANGES:

This is now a VIP-only benefit. If you are a standard member, your points will continue to accrue, but they cannot be redeemed until you become VIP.
Referral points have been lowered to 100 points. This is because it will become easier to refer members after March 1st.

Two new popular payment options have been added:

Amazon - gift card delivered to you electronically.
Paypal - cash sent directly to your Paypal account.

No, there is no such market like this for points. However, there is a public market for FZT though. One FZT represents one point.

FxOpen has been moved to a lower tier for points redemption. The current rate for redeeming points to FxOpen is $5 per 1000 points.

There have been some changes to the Points System.

CHANGES:

All redemption methods are now equal in value. The end result in terms of Dollars (or any fiat currency) will be the same now.
FXOpen, LMFX, and XM have been removed as available brokers for trading money. They either do not allow for direct transfers anymore or they haven't been popular options. So they have been removed.
Redeeming points is now limited to once per week per member.
An example conversion of points to XRP has been included.
