This broker has a good reputation, but there's no representative in my country. I think trading with low funds is still safe.

It's true that reputable brokers typically have clear regulations, robust security systems, and a relatively clean track record. This builds trust. However, the lack of an official representative in your country can be a significant drawback. If issues such as delayed withdrawals, transaction disputes, or technical difficulties arise, the resolution process can be more complicated because there's no local support to contact directly.

Because there's no local support, I only dare to deposit a maximum of $1,000 with FBS. I don't want to put all my funds in just one broker.

The lack of local support can be a concern, especially if issues arise with withdrawals, account verification, or complaints. In such situations, limiting deposit amounts to, for example, a maximum of $1,000 is a wise move to reduce risk exposure.

There's no regulation that establishes a reserve fund to pay clients if a broker runs into trouble. To protect my assets from significant risks, I always allocate funds to invest in each broker.

In fact, some regulators do provide investor fund protection, albeit with certain limits and specific conditions. So, it's not entirely true that there aren't any, but it's certainly not universally applicable across countries or brokers.

Protection programs typically have certain limitations, both in terms of the amount of funds guaranteed and the types of cases covered. Furthermore, the claims process can be time-consuming and dependent on applicable legal procedures. This is why many traders remain skeptical, even though such protection theoretically exists.

As far as I know, insurance generally provides broader protection based on the premium paid, while client fund protection services typically only apply under certain circumstances, such as broker bankruptcy or serious misconduct. Therefore, not all trading losses are covered by this service.

Financial problems at a broker should include insurance for every registered client. This will add value to the broker..

From an operational perspective, this is quite difficult to implement comprehensively. Not all trading risks can be insured, especially losses arising from the trading activity itself. Typically, existing protection only covers specific events, such as broker bankruptcy or misappropriation of funds, not losses resulting from client trading decisions.

The absence of a ?client guarantee service? is not surprising, but rather demonstrates the importance of understanding that in trading there are no absolute guarantees, only levels of protection and risk management.
