sorry I typed it wrong sir ... oh so, I use MT5 sir!
If you see a file ends in 4, as in EX4, then don't try to use it in MT5. That is a different platform. And if you see the file ends in 5, as in EX5, then don't try to use it in MT4. They are different platforms.

Admin, I tested the Basket Scalper EA this week. It works good. I just want to know if it will be hard to modify it. As it is now, the ea starts off opening both a buy and a sell. Could you have it start with only one order? Could you have it always open a buy order each time it starts? The order placement works good. Let's say it starts with a buy at 1.1300. If price goes up to 1.1305 it will open another buy if the gap setting was 5 pips. It will keep doing this until tp is reached. A sell wouldn't open until price dropped to 1.1295. It would keep opening sells according to the gap setting until tp is reached. Basically, I just want it to start with a buy instead of a buy & sell. Also could you add a "stop all" setting which will close all open orders on the chart it is on. This should also stop it from opening any new orders too. I hope these changes aren't hard to do since the main ea is already coded. Please let me know if you can do this. I appreciate all of your work. Thanks.

We are talking about an EA and not an indicator. Also, it was never meant to run on MT5. It's only for MT4.

Sure, this can be done.

Yes, this could be done too. I'll have this done next week some time.

Basket Scalper 2.0 is done. Check the first post to download.

Changes:
  • The Max Trades input has been fixed. So a '0' will disable it now.
  • There is a new input to choose the direction of the first trade. Instead of the EA opening 2 trades to begin the cycle, it will open a single trade in the direction set by this input.
  • There is a new 'Stop & Close Trades' input. If true, the EA will not place any new trades and any existing trades will be closed.

Hi. I have an EA that I need to make changes to. Right now it opens buys when the price falls according to the order step setting. It sells when the price rises. Can you please put a setting in the EA so that there is an option to make it work in reverse. It will open buys as the price rises and it will keep placing sell trades as price falls. For example let's say price is 1.13900 and the step is set at 5 pips. Then when price goes to 1.13950 it will open up another buy order. It will keep doing this. Same for sells. When the take profit is hit please make it close all trades at one time as a basket. Hedging is needed for this EA to work. Also lets say there is a buy order open and the price reverses down. The ea will keep those buys open and start opening sell orders according to the step. I hope this can be done. Thanks.
for this complete way of working from EA how to be able to change for the better, and for its use must be installed on any pair for maximum results
