Today I attempted to sell GBPUSD with a stop-loss at 1.3371 and a take-profit at 1.3334. GBPUSD on the M15 timeframe initially moved fairly steadily around the moving average, then experienced a sharp rise, forming a new peak. However, this rise could not be sustained.

My open sell position on GBPUSD eventually hit my stop-loss, resulting in a loss of $1.60. GBPUSD appears to be rising on the M15 timeframe, but it hasn't broken through the 200-day moving average (MA200) yet.

Today I attempted to sell gold with a stop-loss order placed at 4032.09 and a take-profit order at 3986.64. Gold is currently in a bearish trend on the M15 timeframe. A change in market behavior began to emerge when the price was no longer able to stay above the red moving average.

My open sell position on gold hit my stop loss and I lost $24.52

Today I tried selling USDCAD with a stop-loss at 1.4152 and a take-profit at 1.4132. On the M15 timeframe, USDCAD showed consecutive bearish candles without any significant correction.

My open sell position on USDCAD hit my take profit, netting me a profit of $0.57. USDCAD fell sharply today, forming a new lower low.
