This broker, when he first appeared, gave a bonus which only required 2 lots, but when he was going to WD, he had to make a deposit.

Such a model is indeed a hallmark of a non-transparent broker. Bonuses are fine if the rules are clear and the withdrawal process is truly feasible. However, if there's always a reason to delay withdrawals, it's a clear indication of unhealthy behavior on the part of the broker.
