Me again :D
Can we get an EA that hides S/L en T/P from the broker?
So you basically set your TP and S/L in the EA but it doesn't show at the broker, when the level is triggered, it just closes the position

Do you have an EA in mind already that you want modified? Or were you looking for something else?

What you are referring to is usually called 'stealth'. I have made many EA's that worked like this. It has it's advantages and disadvantages. I understand why traders want this, but in my opinion I would much rather just find a broker that I trusted rather than trying to hide TP and SL levels from them.

Stealth will be cool, but l don't want any disadvantages. Thanks for the reply, I will then rather place them, and hope the broker doesn't chase me down :)

The disadvantages can't be prevented when it comes to stealth. I'll explain what I mean by disadvantages. The stealth will take additional code to get done compared to just setting a TP and SL in the regular order process. For example, the EA needs to set an invisible stop level and constantly check to see if price ever reaches that level. If it does, then it closes the order. All this requires extra functions and slows an EA down a little. Also, in order for the EA to check the stealth TP/SL, it needs to be running. An EA cannot check an invisible level or close orders if it is not even running. So if the internet goes down or whatever the case may be, the stealth TP/SL would not be acted on. Compared to a regular TP/SL which is set with the broker and will be acted upon regardless of Metatrader being open, internet being connected, or whatever else.
