Dear traders,

today I want to share one of the best arrow indicators with you, which is also MultiTimeFrame. He can catch big movements up to 200 points and more.

The alarming needs to be (Push/Email) repaired. The messages should be also changed from german language to english: Example "M1 EUR/USD Longsignal" and same message for short.

The alarming(Push/Email)needs to be programmed new from scratch, and the bad code removed.

On the picture I was in big profit after the first longsignal, then later price changed down, but I didnt get alarmed by the Push/Email. So I lost temporary all the profits and was about 40 points in loss. Also you can see a second yellow longgarrow that later appeared, so the trade was closed in big profit, over 200 points at this day. But on the last short signal , the yellow arrow appeared timely to take the profits, but didnt send a signal to the phone again, so if you don´t sit in front of the screen, because you are working, you would loose again perhaps, the hard earned pips.

The indicator should send a a push/email on every arrow

On the picture I enclosed above, I have a description about the settings

Seems to be a small thing in the code, but easy for a skilled coder.

Best regards, thank you.
Claywalker

PS: The indicator can redraw in sideway markets.

I will look into this soon, but to prevent any wasted time, I have two points I would like you to reply to first:

  • You said the 2nd arrow appeared on time, but didn't send the alert. How do you know it appeared on time? Were you watching in real-time? If so, then why did you miss out on the 40 points? If you were not watching in real-time, and if you said the indicator repaints and is MTF, it could simply be an arrow that appeared in the past and which bypassed the alert code.
  • In your last post, you showed many alerts happening on the same minute. This is entirely possible if an indicator is set to alert on the current candle as soon as a signal appears. For example, let's say a signal's calculated price is 1.50000. Price goes up to 1.50001 which triggers a buy signal and then price moves back down to 1.49999 which triggers a sell signal. And so on and so on within the same minute of time. If you are supposed to get alerts on the current candle as soon as a signal occurs, you could get many alerts within the same minute of time. I see your indicator has an 'alertsOnCurrent' input. So maybe this is no problem at all.

Hello,

Nr 1 was not my question.

Nr 2 I tried to turn off "on current" and the indicator stoped sending many alerts in the same SECOND not in the same                minute. I thought in the same second up and down alerts should be error in the code. Sorry, did not try to waste                 your time. Just turned alert on current off and it is ok. Thanks for having a look.

Question1

I was at home, when the first longsignal appeared, I went to work at this day an the price was going down, about 40 points against me. Because of the first signal "Arrow Up" I stayed in the trade. Later at the day, a second "Arrow Up" signal appeared, an DAX was going 200 points up. When I arrived at  home at the evening , there was a Short arrow, but no signal to my phone.

When I trade life, I often see the indicator ploting an arrow, but no signal
Now I am testing 5Min on 1Minute. There was shortsignal before a few minutes. Now he did plott two longsignal arrows, but no signal again to my phone. EATA works perfect with signals

Question2

Ah Ok, I understand.

PS: Thank you again for your efforts (EATA)

I tested this indicator live and saw what I suspected it would do. Attached is a video. As you can see, it drew an arrow in the past 2 candles ago. If the 'alertsOnCurrent' input is true, what is probably happening is the alert code is simply being bypassed since no arrow is actually occurring on the current candle, but rather a couple candles ago.

I found this example quickly after testing live and I'm sure I could find more examples of it painting arrows in the past. If you are not watching in real-time, you will think it is simply not alerting right.

"Sorry admin, is this indicator an EA version? So you can try 24 hours for 30 days."

Use this indicator for scalping, just with additional filters and knowledge how the different timeframes working together. This is no EA :-)
