All of these indicators can predict a trend direction, but what is clear is that when you are still not able to do all that, you can use automatic indicators. So you don't need to analyze your feet, just wait for the signal to be generated from the automatic indicator called

Until now no one can beat the moving average on that day is an indicator that is a long time ago but still able to predict a trend. But you can also update indicators which you can do or make you comfortable if you are a programmer you can make your own

I usually use the zigzag because I think using the zigzag indicator is very simple and doesn't take up my time. I'm just waiting for the upper and lower limits and I will open a position by waiting for the candlestick confirmation.

actually there are many indicators .. but indeed MA is the most widely used. maybe once in a while we can also try the oscillator indicator to predict when the trend will end.
