I think everyone will have one tendency, including myself. I feel I have a more realistic mindset but I still have big ambitions in forex trading.

Optimistic or realistic thinking must be in the trader's mind.

realistic in setting a target, and optimistic in every step we take. those two things are important in my opinion, so we can't just choose one. because in trading without optimism, we will only be a loser, and without a realistic target we will be greedy and ignorant.

Both are quite important in trading because when we continue to be optimistic we will continue to have hope, and when we are realistic then we will be more comfortable undergoing trading
