Using a high time period is more recommended than using a small time period. When you can analyze the direction using a high time period to open a position, you can use a small time period.

The trend is always in a large time frame, so actually the large time frame is the most important, we can go down to a small time frame if the stop loss in the large time frame is too far away.

I always suggest to everyone that you are obliged to always use a high time period, at least use a time period above 1 hour because in my opinion the shorter it is, the more difficult it is and there are many false signals.

A large time frame is necessary, therefore don't hold a loss position for too long on a large TF and also dare to apply a stop loss when the position does not match the plan in a large time frame.
