Leverage gives a chance to use small margin requirement for open position same with the actual contract size, in simple explanation with examples, buy something on price 10.000 but only use 1000 as collateral, for retail trader indeed with leverage give a chance to make more position, but if over trading will harmful

if laverage is used wisely and in the best possible way it will be very helpful, but if it is not used carefully it will be very risky, even greater the risk is the greater the laverage value

useful if you can adjust to the capital, if your capital is below 100$ maximum you use leverage 1:1000 because that way your leverage will be large but also do not be crazy if using lots
