When you don't use a mentor, I don't think there is a problem with this, but you also have to be able to clarify your method of analysis so that you can feel comfortable trading.

if you learn without using a mentor then you must be able to use learning with a good system using the system you use for research as a tool for your trading journal and that is something you must do

In my opinion, learning without using a mentor is the best way so that you can learn independently based on the strengths you show and of course later you will be confident in what you create.

In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with studying without using a mentor. In fact, when you study without using a mentor, it will make you smart, make you creative to find your own way.
