In my opinion, it depends on your experience, when your experience is good, it can be used for the future, but when your experience is bad, you should change it with an evaluation.

People who are successful certainly have a lot of experience. Apart from learning from your own experience, you can also take other people's stories to use as material for introspection about what you have done so far. Just looking in the mirror is not enough.
