Responding to the problem of profit targets, in my opinion there are 3 types of targets:
Pips, for example 20pips per day
Percentage, for example daily target of 5%
Nominal, for example the target is $ 100 / day
Actually between process and nominal are almost the same, but in my opinion, the target in the form of nominal is easier to check. In the beginning, my target trading was in the form of pips, but it was not flexible in calculating the risk limit, because both are 10pip [s if the lots are different then the risk is also different, finally replace with a percentage, more flexible indeed, but I have to calculate what percentage I have get it. For simplicity, I convert to nominal form. Let's say $ 5 per day, so it's easier to monitor.
