my target is small, only 5-10 pips a day with 2 traders and lot 2
each person must have a different target. depending on how you trade. for a scalper usually the target is 5-10 pips
that might be a pr trade target, if the daily target for a scalper is of course more than that, for example 50-100 pips per day because a scalper makes transactions more than once even the extreme scalper opens multiple positions at one time.
True, the one who has a lot of pips in a day in my opinion is the extreme scalper, if the long term trader is not on the target day but one month or more.
very diverse target of traders here, from small to large targets.a target in trading is very good which is important not to disturb psychologists because they are too chasing targets
A target is certainly important because it can be used as a reference. but do not violate the system and our strategy especially psychologists, if it violates rather than the target it will be achieved instead the failure is achieved.
I agree with your opinion. in the trading psychologist is number 1. if you can control it you will definitely be able to get the target you want.
Psychological control is not easy and psychology is not directly related to results but must be applied with discipline in running rules and management in trading.
yes sir, i am better realistic than often hit by MCs.
The target should not be determined based on pip acquisition per day, because market conditions are inconsistent; but based on the probability of profit from the overall trading which is commonly called the expectation of profit or expectancy. The profit expectation is calculated from the amount of the average profit in the times of trade and loss on average in the number of trade times. It is also important to note: usually, targets are determined after a long trading period (for example 6 months or a year), not a very short trading period such as a day or 2 days.
