I used to like shifting the stop loss slide because I wasn't sure about my analysis but what happened was the opposite, instead I lost a lot because I was always wrong in the analysis

to be able to shift your stop loss it is mandatory to do everything in the right way

I think it's not a good practice to do haha. It makes you lack consistency, making a decision based on your emotions, it can increase your transaction costs, or it can reduce your risk management.

You should be able to shift the stop loss to maximize something in a good way.

don't move the stop loss too long because it will make it difficult for you to set a good stop loss
