For practice, it is certain to use a demo account because when you practice using a real account, the result is that your money will always decrease and even always MC, but when you use a demo account, your money will be safe and you can practice there until you can make consistent profits.

Actually, you can use a demo account or a real account, but if you use a real account, the difference is that mentally and psychologically you are usually much more confident when using a real account.
