It is more valid to use both to confirm to be more confident and not fake signals but all of it goes back to each trader

not all traders master both because the use and reading of candlesticks is not as easy as using indicators and not all traders can combine the two properly.

I tend to prefer candlesticks because candlesticks provide more accurate information so the signals we get will be better and provide benefits.

For that reason, I think all traders agree that the candlestick is better because it is the original price of the market, so I suggest using candlesticks only.

I think it is better if combined both as valid confirmation and can be used as a reference if used together

 For me it is more suitable to use the indicator I usually use macd and MA5 on tf h1 indeed it is more comfortable for me and good for beginners

I think candlesticks and indicators are the same, the difference is only the level of difficulty in understanding the character, if you master candlesticks it is very good because candlesticks are simple but accurate indicators.

sometimes I use both because I also like looking for a candle pattern or just knowing the closing price as a confirmation of the indicator or previous candle to improve the accuracy of the analysis.

If you want to use an indicator you should use a simple one like a bolinger band or oscillator because beginners can use it too

Depending on the type of trader itself whether scalping or swing if swing should use a combination of candle patterns and indicators if scalping is sufficient BB

Candlesticks are also indicators therefore there are candle patterns and formations for either reversals or rebounds up to which one each wants to use.

choosing candlesticks is actually more accurate it's just that understanding of technical indicators is easier to understand than candlesticks.

candlestick is more reliable because its accuracy exceeds technical indicators, it's just that understanding it is not as easy as understanding technical indicators.
