Candlestick and indicator is very important even we also can trade without indicator but actually when we using jndicator it will help us to guide what decision to make buy or sell,and usually simple indicator is very helpfull justlike trendline or moving average

In my opinion, this indicator is very much stronger than a candle that has little information about a price movement.
