Conditions like that are scary, that's why I don't recommend opening positions when market conditions are sideways and that means we can't focus on running traders.

Side way occurs because a price level is determined by traders to see where the price will move and very few traders enter at that price. Therefore, it is necessary to have a stop loss which functions as an automatic order to avoid losses.

You should be able to avoid unclear market conditions because when you force yourself to open a position, it will be the wrong opportunity for you to use and it will make it difficult for you to move forward.

when the price has moved very far then the market will go sideways... at times like this it is best not to trade yet because the price is consolidating. You will be able to re-enter after the price continues its trend or even reverses direction.
