the side way area in a large TF will be a supply or demand area, so it can be utilized.

Trading in the current way can generate profits, as long as you know to what extent the price will experience a side way.

there is a large side range even up to 100 pips, it's good if you open a position there

It's best to just avoid it. You can choose many other currency pairs that are safer.
