I think this depends on the strategy used by the trader, because sometimes there are traders who like the side way market conditions.

maybe for you trading in the side way market is not good, but for some traders they are happy if trading in the side way market.

don't forget not to make bad trades like open positions when sideway as well as looking for another pair

We shouldn't use the sideway market, while we shouldn't take any position actions.
