What you should be afraid of here is the fear of not being able to trade. If you can't trade then you will have difficulty opening positions.

Many parents forbid their children from trading because they might hear bad stories about trading. I think in my country currently many are afraid of becoming traders, even though trading is a profitable thing if we can cultivate it.

Being afraid of losing and being afraid of not being able to trade are two different things. If you are afraid of not being able to trade then you have to learn first.
