Signum Node v3.9.0 has been  released . With this version, H2 has been completely removed, SQLite is the default database. Other changes: Java 21 support, Gradle 8.8 upgrade.

New real-time analytics center. You can find out about network performance, block production and mining statistics, node analytics, growth indicators, etc.

Signum is currently experiencing a decline of around 1.3%. This indicates that Signum is experiencing a small, but still reasonable, correction, not a major decline. However, I believe Signum will likely rise again.

Signum's price rose 5.9% today, up 71.7% in one month. This is very interesting, and hopefully, more people will buy Signum, leading to a further price increase.

Today, Signum's price rose 22%. This is a good sign for Signum after several days of continuous decline. Hopefully, the price will continue to rise in the next few days.

Today, Signum fell again by 9.4% due to selling pressure. Signum has already fallen by around 18.5% in the past year, and I'm hoping it will rise again today.

Today, the price of Signum rose slightly, around 0.95%. I've seen the price of Signum consistently rise over the past week, and I hope it doesn't drop further.

For anyone that may have missed this news, there has been an emergency update to the Signum network.  Someone recently exploited an overflow vulnerability that threatened the network.  The developers quickly corrected the issue.  It is important that anyone running a Signum node, upgrade as soon as possible!

 Signum Node v3.9.9 ? Release

 Fixes nasty cashback fee overflow issue
 Fixes fee calculation issue for Block versions <4 -> allowing a full sync now
  Stabilizes block verification behavior (is deterministic now)

For this release it is required to roll back before block height 1541010
Must be done until block 1542449 - or a full resync is required!

This version of the node software has bold a new look.  And you can do the required rollback by selecting the "Pop off" checkbox and using the buttons for "Pop off 100" and "Pop off 10" to reach block 1541010.

Short overview what happened.

A vulnerability in the fee distribution logic introduced by the SMART_FEES hardfork was exploited on mainnet. It allowed a malicious actor to craft a block with an invalid fee value, triggering an integer  overflow that inflated the cashback reward beyond any legitimate amount. The attacker was able to liquidate approximately 1.8M SIGNA generated through this exploit. No other accounts or funds were affected ? the impact was limited to the tokens created by the overflow itself.                                                                                                                                                                           

A full post-mortem will be published within the next two weeks. It will cover the root cause in technical detail, the timeline of events, and the steps we are taking to prevent similar issues going forward.

This incident mitigation was a true community effort  and thanks to all supporters

On August 30, 2026, the Bitstorage exchange, where Signa was traded, shut down. The reasons for the closure were not disclosed.

On September 9, 2026, a rapid sell-off of Signa began on the two remaining active exchanges, Azbit and SuperEx. The sell-off started on Azbit, where the price dropped to $0.0002733. Subsequently, selling shifted to SuperEx, driving the price down to $0.0001343.
According to CoinMarketCap data, the price of Signa fell by more than 71%, and over the past year, the asset lost nearly 85% of its value.
Signa's market capitalization dropped by over 71%, settling at $286,230.
The price is now beginning to recover, although it remains unclear whether this trend will persist.
