In your opinion, what meaning can be taken from the death of CEO Cuadriga which brought the secret of cryptocurrency digital asset passwords on the crypto exchange in Canada?

The crypto world is not as safe as we thought, even crypto can otherwise make us crazy because of the loss of very large assets because crypto is very difficult to predict.

I only focus on an opinion that I can get from Forumzone. Simply put my question like this, what do you think if your trustworthy Wallet Crypto company owner dies and he doesn't share the important password that stores your Cryptocurrency assets so that it could be a loss for you?

And so I take the example of CEO Cuadriga.

I believe exchange should have another means to keep the private key. not just solely with the owner. 
I am not sure, how the other exchange taking care of the private key, But giving it only to the owner to know is not a very good choice.
