when I use EA I often experience margin calls, so I always think manual trading is much better

don't confuse confusion between manual trading and EA, the advantages of each are better, you can use both manual trading and EA.

My advice when you are interested in using EA then you can try it because EA has several benefits such as to change our system in real and instant and to do automatic trading without having to monitor charts. If you have not been able to make EA, you can also modify or learn to use EA from other people, if you make it yourself, it takes a long time, starting from learning programming languages and so on.
