Actually, if you want to win we can also use fundamental analysis, because both are good

as a start, you should just use technical analysis because technical analysis is better

what is certain in my opinion is that what is good is technical analysis combined with clear fundamental analysis

Both is important to learned, fundamental analysis sometimes give quick impact to financial market, like as days ago when CPI released then make USD being strongest to another currency, while technical analysis also need accompanied with risk management strictly.
