You can indeed use many time periods. I also use three time periods, short, medium and long. I usually use 5 minutes, 4 hours and 1 week because in my opinion, to use analysis we definitely need several time periods to make it more effective and of course we follow it. the direction of the trend over a long period of time so in my opinion it doesn't matter if you know how to use it and combine it well

There are many timeframe available in trading platform from M1, M5, M15, M30, H1, H4, D1, W1, MN1, even in Ticktrader platfrom available S1 and S10. However, choosing a timeframe depends on the trading style. If we work scalping, indeed we can use many timeframes like D1 for long-term analysis, H1 to reading medium support and resistance, and then M5 to look detail entry. Many scalping traders choose low timeframe because they can analyze detailed movement a short time.

If you trade using multiple time periods, in my opinion it doesn't matter as long as you are able to do it well then anything can happen, the important thing is that you are able to use a combination of these time periods.

In my opinion, it depends on the individual, if you feel that using many time periods is necessary then you can use as many time periods as you like, but if you feel that using many time periods will actually make you confused, you should not use them.

When you use multiple time periods, I suggest you use a time period that really looks at the trend, for example one week or one day. Later, you can use the short term to see price movements to open positions as momentum.

In my opinion, a long period of time is indeed an optional step. When you use a long period of time, it doesn't matter as long as you have a method or system that you have researched yourself to get stable profits.

When you use multiple time periods to analyze I cannot forbid it because the more time periods the better you will get accurate information about more detailed price movements and of course you must be able to combine long term with short term.
