It doesn't become a big thing when you use a lot of time frames so it's mandatory for now.

Most traders try to use different timeframes, and to enter a trade when a signal appears on each timeframe is the wrong strategy...you will always see a divergence.

using multiple timeframes is more effective if used in a more precise way and it has to be spectacular

first the trader should identify the main trend in a long-term time period. once the main trend is identified, the trader should then look at a shorter time frame chart for potential entry signals.

not too much of a problem using multiple timeframes as I've done that myself too and it's very effective

The key is to identify the major trend - which is done best with a longer time-frame - and then use shorter time frames to enter and exit trades. This can help to eliminate false signals being generated by short-term noise and help to ensure the trade is entered and exited at optimum price points.

Focusing on the larger picture of the forex market ensures that you will be able to have a better grasp of the trend at hand.
