usually the long term is used by traders who are professionals, they can hold trades up to monthly, for small traders like me, the main factor is capital.

for me both the short term or long term depends on the suitability of each of these styles. because everything depends on the style of trading, not because of trading time.

it's better to use the long run if you want to be safer, but if your style is directed to the short run, it doesn't matter if you choose the short run.

for trading style I prefer long term but sometimes I occasionally use short term for my trading when there are good moments such as big news.

if the word trm short is more risky but my word adjusts to our character so we can determine which one is suitable for our character.
