Choosing between short or long term trading in forex trading is a personal preference and should be based on risk tolerance and financial goals. Short-term trading is a fast-paced approach that can be used to capitalize on small price movements. It also provides quick profits, but also carries higher risk. Long-term trading, on the other hand, is a slower, more conservative approach that requires patience, research and discipline. It?s best suited for traders who are willing to wait for their trades to play out and have larger sums of capital to invest. Ultimately, it is up to you to decide which trading style suits your lifestyle and risk profile.

the long term remains a mainstay because you must have it first

You can use long runs for training when you can use short runs.

I like to hold positions when the direction is right, at least I hold them for 3 days, so I do long term trading.
