doing a lot of open positions is not good because too many open positions will not be able to make you more profitable, it will actually make you lose concentration to focus more

It's better not to open too many positions. In my opinion here you don't need to be too afraid to do a lot of Open positions, the important thing is there is discipline not to do that and you have to be optimistic about your own results
