The difference between gambling and learning to trade effectively is that gamblers may win the odd time but don't make a living from it. The goal with trading is to consistently be on the right side of variance by using an edge.

I don't think that's true because it has nothing to do with forex trading with gambling. When you don't use analysis, it might be called gambling
