As of today, whitelisting is now a requirement for new members to join the forum. I want to apologize for needing this change, but it seems necessary. There have been daily bot attacks against the forum which is harming forum service and also ruining the forum's reputation. Also, requiring whitelisting may improve the quality of the forum long-term.
The first post has been updated with new information, but is mainly the same as before.
