Trump has announced tariffs on EU countries starting at 10%, with the potential to rise to around 20%. Key sectors likely to be impacted include autos and auto parts, as well as industrial and capital goods. This policy could introduce significant uncertainty in global trade flows, potentially leading to short-term volatility across stocks and other risk assets.

In response to this, my strategy is designed to take advantage of the expected market movements while managing risk. With short-term volatility anticipated, I?m considering going long on crypto-linked stocks such as $MSTR and $COIN, which could benefit from market shifts and investor sentiment toward alternative assets. At the same time, I plan to short tariff-sensitive stocks like $TSLA, $GE, and $AMZN, as these companies could face headwinds from increased trade costs.

I?m using Bitget stock futures via their Multi-asset index to diversify exposure, with USDT settlement allowing me to trade globally. An added advantage is the absence of liquidation risk during market closures, which gives flexibility to manage positions without pressure. Overall, this approach allows me to stay agile, respond to breaking news, take calculated risks, and potentially profit from these market dynamics.
