Hello Coders,

I would need a Candle Breakout EA with the following characteristics:

1. Trade the breakout of the current candle once closed (or ability to indicate the specific time candle)
2. Place 2 pending orders buy/sell (or buy at market orders once breakout is triggered) at candle high/low + buffer (+ spread for buy).
3. Once one order is triggered, cancel the opposite order.
4. SL at opposite candle high/low +/- buffer (+spread for sell order). For example, if buy order is triggered, SL at candle low - buffer. TP at entry Price +/- candle range
5. One trade per day.
6. Basic MM: money at risk. If the mínimum position size available (i.e. 0.01 lot) give a risk superior to the "money at risk" variable, then there is no trade for this day.
7. Slippage and max spread proctection.

I hope that the description is quite clear. Do not hesitate to ask any questions and many thanks in advance for your collaboration with this !

I understand what you want and if no other member codes this EA for you then I could do it. I would like to see you support the forum though in some way. There are multiple ways to do this (eg. referring members, invitation emails, posting on the forum). All the methods I just said are totally free to you. You are a brand new member and your very first post is asking for an EA to be coded free. It doesn't look so good. Thanks for your understanding.

Hello,
I thank you for your quick answer. Effectively I am a new member and my first post is requesting an ea coding. To be honest I was searching for a coder through Google and casually encountered your web page and forum. That is why I posted. I did not know at all that one need to be an old member to request a coding (did'nt read anything at all like that in the forum rules). So I don't understand why you said "it doesn't look so good". In another hand, I understand that you want to promote your forum and I am fine with that. May be a bit more of information on what a new member can post/request would avoid such confusion. Sorry for the inconvenience. I 'll stay around and see how to support the forum. Please inform me whenever you are able to code that ea as I really need it. Thanks for you understanding.

You do not necessarily need to be an old member. It would just be better to see some kind of support or participation in some way. When someone joins and their first and only post is asking for an EA to be coded, it looks like that person's only goal is to get something for free. As you probably know, coding labor is expensive and time-consuming. If you were to get quotes for this EA off the services in Google you would see this. Nobody here is sitting around and waiting for the chance to code something for free for someone they don't even know. So it doesn't look good in that way. You're right that it's not in the forum rules. It is in the posting bonus section though. Maybe this will be better explained and/or changed later depending on the demand for coding from members. It's no big deal though and I hope you understand.

Ok, thanks. You are right. Have seen that is included in the posting bonus section, although I have seen you have help other newbies members with their request. But, as I told you, I fully understand your point of view, so for me the discussion is closed. As already said, I 'll stay around and will try to bring some value to the forum. I will start by sharing a trading system that I am using live, so stay tuned. In the meantime, please, do not close this thread and feel free to work on this Ea whenever you feel it convenient.

Thanks.

Sure, the topic will stay open. And thanks for your understanding. This EA will probably get done later.
