Hello.
This MA crosser triggers alerts and arrows very early with the settings 1,20,3 and is a important part of my trend-trading-strategy. (Back into trend after pullback).

Unfortunately it slows down mt4 by sending 100 sell and buy signals at the same time in one chart (experts tab). Pleas have a look at the pictures of how it looks like in the chart and the looping alerts.

Could you please fix the indicator and make it work without slowing mt4 down? That would be fantastic.

Best Regards

Thank you so much !

What did you change to stop sending a ton of sell/buy alerts in the same second ?

The printing to the log, which is what you showed in your image, was in the code before the 'LastTm<Time[0]' check. So that check did not prevent the prints but it did prevent the actual alert. So I simply moved that. I made a few other small changes to the code too.

...always the little things.
Such a relief to work with mt4 without waiting after every little move, like haircross use or anything else.
Thanks again.
If it is not asked to much, could you please add mtf function? That would be a great help going back into trend-direction.
As this ma crosser can show arrows pretty early (repainting accepted) with settings 1,20,3.
Trading M15 with arrows and alerts from M30 shows less confusing arrows on the chart, but early arrows after a pullback combined with any trend indicator, like an ema 20 on the chart.

An indicator that shows MTF MA arrows is something that you can probably find free somewhere, because it's already been coded many times before. Have you tried looking for one?

Hi.
Yes I did see alot of them over the years. I stuck to sma justin crosser because with sharp settings 1,20,3 it shows often alert and arrow above/below the last candle of the move, during first candle into the other direction. Something different in the code, I don`t know, but there is nothing better (when it comes to MA) than this. It repaints and that is accepted, otherwise (nonrepaint) arrows can`t be that early. Combined with a trendline, obos in a subwindow, getting back into trend-direction, by alert, can`t be earlier.

But you are right, not to invest valuable time in that. Coding my idea (mtf rsi "back into trend") in the OSMA mtf topic would be way better.
Thanks for your time.
Best Regards

I'm not sure what you mean here.

You can start a new topic too dedicated to your MTF RSI method. You don't need to post in am OSMA MT4 section simply because it has MTF as a feature too.

Hi,

"Combined with a trendline, obos in a subwindow" (obos = overbought, oversold) looks like this in the eurcad M5 Chart.

White arrows are sma justin like it is now, yellow and aqua arrows (by hand) would have been sma justin mtf M15.

First subwindow RSI 5, M15, shows obos zones level 85 and 15 plus trendlines... GO (higher risk before trendline break, lower risk after break)

I understand what you mean now about the OB/OS levels and the trend lines. You were just explaining some additional technical analysis you do with the arrows.

About the MTF arrows, if there is demand from other members, I will consider adding this function to the indicator later.
