They are important for a couple reasons. For example, a certain news event is due at a certain time and you can set a pending order to trigger only if price moves a large amount at this time. If so much time has past after the news and no such movement, the news event didn't cause what you thought might happen, so there is no reason to have it anymore. So it should be cancelled.

Thanks so much sir for this reply, this is an eyes opener for all traders to be thinking about the fundamental aspect of trading as we are placing our orders in the market.

I think pending orders are an important thing because we are not always at the computer to wait for the right signal. With the pending order, we easily put the price we are going to, and we can stay in a fantastic place without worrying about missing the moment. I myself use pending orders more often than direct orders.

when i use pending order  before , I want to tell you pending orders benefits. It is very difficult to watch market every time especially for bzy person. You work your daily routine work you place a pending order in which currency in which you have sufficient knowledge. Set maximum and minimum Sell and Buy putting pending order ans set TP. When price will touch at level your order will be placed automatically.

agree sir,

pending older does not seem to have an expiration date, and the placement is only if the price stepped on it,

It seems like the pending order has no expiration, from my experience with the old account, I once had a pending order and I forgot it for 1 year but the pending order still exists. It is also possible for every broker to have a different policy regarding the period of the pending order.

Pending order usually used by Ranging Trader. In MetaTrade you could set expiration for pending order like GTC, Today (Market Close) and so on.

It will be depending on your option if you put pending order if you check box expired date on a certain date, hence if already matured hence pending order will close automatically, but if you do not check box these options, hence pending order will remain running forever until you remove order or modify

agree sir admin,
because if there is still the remaining pending we use it will result in not according to the entry rule, I think so, it is appropriate that there must be a cancelation time as the admin said, there is no movement after the news, it must be canceled for no longer. thank you for information.

Besides that, when we have a busy life that cannot be left behind, even though soon there will be a moment that will probably be realized, then it can also place a pending order. The most important thing is to be clear where the profit target is and where the risk limits are, so even if we don't have time to observe the chart continuously we can still trade and get profits

This needs to be updated about the expiration date so that friends who just saw it did not make an entry or follow the signal that was given, this is for the common good, because there is a time when the signal is still valid, and there is a signal expiration due to different circumstances

hmmm ... as far as I know the pending order has no time limit. pending orders are very good if we don't have enough time to look at the chart. I personally rarely use pending orders. because my time is enough to stare at the screen

about this pending order, i prefer to trade using a instant execution because we can sees the market condition at that moment so that we can sees the risk and reward possibilities,i think that sometimes pending order needs a higher level of stoploss and we cannot really minimize the stoploss level when we use a pending order
