Forex in the US

Discussion started on General Forex Discussion

One myth among nonprofessional traders about the Forex market is that Forex is banned in the United States. This is not true. In the US, Forex is not prohibited! But on the American market, the work of brokers is monitored very closely and carefully.
To provide Forex trading services, the broker must have a license that should and must have a security deposit of $ 20 million. Therefore, many brokerage companies from other countries that comply with US legal requirements, give a warning on their website that their services are not intended for US citizens. This is because only a small group of regulated companies serve customers from North America. But American law does not prohibit citizens from trading on the Forex market.
