It is actually safe to say Bitcoin has evolved beyond just digital gold. I mean projects like Portal to Bitcoin and Bitlayer have shown how Bitcoin ecosystem is pushing scalability, staking and DeFi utility. Part of this growing ecosystem is Lombard Finance, which through its liquid staking model has already pushed LBTC past $1B TVL in a couple of months, giving Bitcoin holders a way to earn yield while staying liquid.
Interestingly, it is set to launch its token, $BARD on Bitget along with other CEXs with a potential launchpool event that is highly likely to be soon rather than later, this resulting in an increase access. It is interesting to see BTC evolving from a store of value to a growing DeFi ecosystem. What's your take on this evolution ?
