There is a thread with same discussion about investment in bitcoin.

You have to look before start new thread. Bitcoin is yes just speculation, but what happen to people who buy bitcoin in 2012 ? The thing is always think positive and be carefull about the thing you invest

Its is not a practical future. it is design to be that way.But when more and more new people join in, and see this as an investment, the price skyrocketed. Since its still mineable those huge volality will still hapen. same like trading forex lets say. Buy it on low, and sell it at high, same kinf of investment i think.

I do not agree with the sentence. Bitcoin is the latest currency or payment system, can be made an investment. not speculation. and very different from cassino. what is the reason for your opinion?
see the development of bitcoin from year to year. it's clear it's a good development.

i think its better for using cryptocurrency as a payment or make transaction because its offer fast time, for investment its not bad but we need to be very carefull here

it might be based on, new people are just jumping in into investment when the price hike on 2017 without any good research. and when the price drop they see it as a gamble in the casino. Which is a very wrong approach.

this happens alot to my fellow country man

Yes I aggree on this. 
there are alot of mining site or investmet site which try to give unreasonable amount of profit by making some deposit.if we know how crypto works, we won't fall that easily into this kind of trap

for now its not good to mining the bitcoin because the price is too low now, it doesnt even able to cover the mining cost. but we really dont know the future, i think ill buy some of it if it already on the bottom

if you really make the decision to buy bitcoin at the end of 2017,
I think that includes speculation, regardless of risk. and the result is a very high loss.
but if you look at the current price, it is likely that it will increase, because in terms of analysis and indicators, it has entered the basis of support.
meaning that if you buy a bitcoin the current price can be made as an investment.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend who bought at the peak price.

yes that is the basic probelm of mining, very costly. But if you mine and ready to hold it i think its still provitable in the future if the price rise. if only you have the money to cover the cost for now. ;D

some even loss a lot of NXT fork and the birth of ignis.

Someone also get divorced by it.
that is a pure gamble, not an investment.

yeah if the price stay stagnant like this mining won't bring any profit. but if it will increase in the future, it might be a good time to mine it. Aa less and less mining company that still running. Can't cover up with the cost. haha

for now i choose bitcoin faucet to get the free bitcoin.

In my opinion crypto is the future currency and how we react to it, like real money used to play casino, it can, crypto can also be used by casino players, depending on your use:)
