I've been into crypto since 2015, so it's been over 10 years now. One problem that keeps coming up in blockchain is the "Blockchain Trilemma." That means it's hard to have security, speed, and decentralization all at the same time. Most blockchains can only do two of these well.

That's why Nerochain got my attention. They launched something new called BlockSpavs 2.0. One of its main features is a gas fee system that lets people pay with any token, not just the one made by Nerochain. This could make things easier for users and developers.

This might also be why the price of their token has gone up after getting listed on B!tget, Gate, and MEXC.

But it makes me wonder: Can this idea work in the long run? Letting people pay fees with any token sounds simple and helpful, but will it still keep the network safe and running well as more people start using it?

Paying a commission not with a native coin, but with any token is not new. In the TON blockchain, this has already been implemented, if I am not mistaken, since last year. Commission payment is available with a number of tokens. This year, similar payments have also been introduced on the Tron blockchain. The mechanism has been implemented in the well-known Tronlink wallet.

Blockchain continues to evolve, but the trilemma remains a major challenge. Long experience in the crypto world will teach one that progress often means making intelligent compromises, not seeking perfect solutions that may not be realistic in the near future.
