I ask permission to make a Thread with the theme of BITCOIN vs GOLD for long-term investment, maybe 6 months - 1 year in the future.

At present the popularity of crypto currencies, especially Bitcoin is increasingly rising supported by rising prices.
Not inferior to bitcoin
Gold is currently in a strong bullish trend.

Is it more profitable to invest in Bitcoin or Gold?
according to friends, which one is the most beneficial because both have a very good profit.

If for the price of bitcoin is definitely superior, and its growth is faster, investment in bitcoin is obviously fast and big profit.
Gold is not as good as bitcoin, but gold is safer because gold is physical.
yes I prefer security so it's better gold investment.

Bitcoin and gold are very good for investment.
Gold is more stable and many investors make gold a major investment for the long term.
Bitcoin in my opinion in 2020 will be a better investment with a lot of momentum as a bitcoin support, one of which is halving day.

In my opinion, it's safer to invest in gold because in history gold has never dropped dramatically, the price has even gone up from year to year while bitcoin is still more and can drop dramatically at any time.

gold and bitcoin have similar characteristics so in my opinion both have the potential to be used as an investment in the future, it's just that bitcoin is still new so it cannot match the stability of the value of gold. The conclusion at this time in my opinion gold is still superior and safer.

I love both Bitcoin and Gold. I also own both. In my opinion though, I think Bitcoin is a better investment for the next 6 months to 1 year.

Reasons:


  • Gold is near all time resistance on the monthly chart in terms of USD. A retracement down soon is likely.
  • Gold is Gold and has remained the same for thousands of years. Bitcoin however is related to technology which is viral in nature. More and more people get access to internet, get a mobile phone, and so on. There are more apps and services using Bitcoin every month. Everyone has heard of Gold, but not everyone has heard of Bitcoin. So the upside for Bitcoin is stronger.
  • Bitcoin supply is limited, but Gold's supply is not. For example, there is always the chance of a new mine coming online. Central banks which have been buying Gold for many years could find themselves in a hard place (eg. Covid-19) and decide to sell. Supply will then hit the market. Or maybe the paper market for Gold will mimic what has recently happened to Oil.



In my opinion, Gold is more about the preservation of wealth. Bitcoin is most likely a better investment though.

Thank you for all your opinions,
Bitcoin is more profitable and proven achievement of prices of thousands of US dollars.
Gold is also profitable in real investment.
Both have advantages and disadvantages, but all provide investment benefits.

My conclusion Bitcoin is more profitable now in a period of 6 months - 1 year.

I like the admin's argument that Gold is a preservation and bitcoin is an investment.

For 2020 I see bitcoin as more profitable compared to Gold.
If analyzing gold is now in a slightly weakened sideways stage there is no signal of rising prices anymore.
Bitcoin 6 days before halving day gives strong moment for a bullish price.

I prefer bitcoin because the capital for trading gold or investing in gold is relatively large so my capital is insufficient. Besides the bitcoin price movements are very profitable and potential.

actually both have advantages and disadvantages but for short janka may be bitcoin more profitable than gold, but for the long term gold is more suitable to be chosen.

There are many good opinions about bitcoin and gold, basically if you want to invest safely and have good prospects choose between bitcoin and gold. but right now bitcoin is down, maybe it can invest at a lower price

Gold has a stable movement compared to bitcoin which is very volatile and erratic, gold tends to be clearer in direction and always goes up even though it takes a certain amount of time, so I recommend trading gold if you want to gain long-term profits, if you choose bitcoin, if it is shorter.

I still consider that gold is still higher in level than bitcoin because in terms of investment risk, gold is still safer than bitcoin, whose movements are still very unstable and uncertain.

I run both of them even though trading gold is just an addition and I'm more focused on bitcoin and forex. But overall I consider bitcoin to be more potential especially since the movement has a wide reach so it's easier to take advantage of it there.
