Lately, I?ve been trying to understand how crypto exchanges work beyond the usual trading options like spot, grid, bot, and futures. I?ve become curious about how these platforms treat users at different levels and what kind of rewards they give to more active traders.
I use three main exchanges, though I?m more active on some than others. Recently, I noticed a VIP or VIP1 tag on my account. I think it?s based on my trading volume since it?s been fairly good, but I hadn?t really paid attention to it before.
After that, I started getting more messages and offers about things like cards, rebates, and small bonuses. On Binance and Bybit, I?ve seen perks like trading fee discounts, merch giveaways, and small promotional rewards. Bitget seems to go even further with VIP support, higher rebates, and invites to private events. Once you activate some of these offers, the rewards show up almost right away, which is nice.
It made me wonder, do these VIP programs really matter? Are they truly valuable, or just a way to make traders feel special and stay loyal?
Has anyone else noticed the VIP tag or received these perks? What was your experience like? Did it actually make you feel appreciated or not really?
