Gap or gap is a sharp increase or decrease in price on the trading chart. This price movement causes a gap between the level of the previous closing price and the opening price, without a trading transaction, so that a gap or "window" is formed. This gap in forex occurs because of a sharp increase or decrease in prices on the market.
Gap in forex itself has many types. Each Gap also has a characteristic and contains several meanings that are conveyed. If classified according to the function and place of formation, the Gap that has been known is Common Gap, Break Away Gap, Run Away Gap, and Exhaustion Gap.
Each Gap in forex can be identified in different ways. For example, Break Away Gap usually appears after a long market consolidation. Run Away Gap appears in the midst of a fast-moving trend, while Exhaustion Gap appears at the end of the trend.

GAP is the price of vacancies at the beginning of the week / at the time of market opening because brokers do not record price movements on holidays.

in fact, if the market never goes off forever there won't be any, it's just that the broker is on a Saturday Sunday holiday and sometimes on that holiday there are still transactions so that prices change and traders don't know.

other than because of the closing of the market on weekends, do not forget the gap could arise because of a strong push from market sentiment or due to the results of fundamental data that is far from forecast.

Because the gap is a sharp price difference between the opening price of a bar candle and the closing price of the previous candle, it can occur at all time frames including H4.

GAB is a price jump and GAP is often used by traders to look for instant profits by placing a 2-way trap before the market close.

Gap that often occurs at the beginning of this week makes many traders avoid holding positions, or leave trades open during the weekend when the market closes
